Our art camp combines learning and fun under the guidance of experienced and creative artists. This camp teaches a variety of techniques and medias, including drawing, painting, sculpting, ceramics, and mixed media.

  • Campers enjoy general activities, including recreational swimming, various sports, arts and crafts, and special events.
  • A wide array of projects is created each week, including ceramics, sculpture, printmaking/silkscreen, and drawing and painting while exploring art history.
  • An art exhibition is held every Friday in the MARJCC Solomon Family Lobby.
  • Artists of all skill levels are encouraged to register.

M&M PERFORMING ARTS CAMP

What is summer camp without some drama? In our M&M Performing Arts camp, campers learn what it is like to put on a show in just a few weeks. Through improv and theatrical exercises, theatre games, singing, stage movement, acting, body percussion, and dance, campers learn all the skills needed to audition, interview, and rehearse lines with friends.

  • Camp culminates with a performance at the end of Weeks 4 and 8 for parents and other campers to enjoy!

PRO BASKETBALL CAMP

J.A.B. Step Basketball is a premier training company run by former NBA player Joe Alexander and NBA performance trainer Barak Swarttz. In addition to being elite basketball development trainers, we are both American-Israeli Jewish players who immigrated to Israel from our homes in America (Maryland – Joe, and Boston – Barak). While living in Israel, we both participated heavily in the Israeli Professional Basketball League; Joe as a player for 7 years, and Barak as a head performance trainer for 4 years.

 

  • Summer camp program offers tips for transitioning from the American basketball world to the Israeli basketball world based on our Jewish-American basketball experience.
  • Our experience served us both tremendously in our basketball careers, and we wish to share it with others.
  • Players will be split into separate competitive groups based on age and skill level.
  • Competitive activities include 5-on-5, 3-on-3, and 1-vs-1 games.
  • Campers will develop strong bonds with new friends, mentor coaches, and camp counselors/trainers.

This camp offers skills and technique development for boys and girls and a better understanding of the components of football. Trained professionals and coaches provide instruction.

  • This camp features skills development for beginners and advanced, innovative drills, speed and agility training, and competitive scrimmage practice.
  • Camp is taught by trained by our USA Flag Football–certified coaches.

KOACH I Special Needs Camp

Entering Grades K–8

Four-week commitment required.

Weeks 1–4 and Weeks 5–8

  • Our Special Needs camp provides an educational, creative, socially, and emotionally safe environment for campers with special needs.
  •  Eligible campers are mainstreamed into our variety camps and participate in the same activities while “buddied” with a shadow counselor.
  • An intake application and a personal interview prior to acceptance are required.
  • Sibling discounts are not available.
 
 
 
 

Before and After Care Program

Minimum Age is Entering PK-4

Weekly Rate $95

 

This optional extended day program is available before and after regular camp hours at an additional fee. Before and after care include outdoor play and quiet games.

A late fee of $1 per minute will be charged after 6:00 p.m. on Monday through Thursday and after 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
