About Rock Steady Boxing Program
Rock Steady Boxing (RSB) at the MARJCC is a certified affiliate of Rock Steady Boxing, Indiana. RSB is a recognized exercise program by the Parkinson’s Foundation, designed to improve the quality of life for people with Parkinson’s disease through a non-contact, boxing-based fitness curriculum.

To be the preeminent fitness program to Fight Back against Parkinson’s disease.
Program Access
Our RSB affiliate is offered free of charge to anyone diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. This is made possible thanks to the generosity of our community and current grants from The Braman Family Foundation, The Lipton Foundation, and The Jack Chester Foundation.
Class Structure
01.
Stretching: Prepares the muscles for exercise, essential as stiffness and Parkinson’s disease often go hand-in-hand.
02.
Warm-Up: Activates the muscles and prepares the body for movement.
03.
Shadow Boxing: Practice boxing movements without hitting bags to improve coordination and motor skills.
04.
Circuit: Rotational exercises combining aerobic and boxing movements for overall fitness and strength.
