Are league evaluations mandatory?
Yes. Evaluations are necessary to balance teams so that your child is placed on the most suitable team. Evaluations also provide an opportunity to make any requests, including the available times for practice. When will I know my child’s practice and game schedule?
Schedule information will be provided to you on Meet the Coaches Day. When does the season end?
A team’s season ends once eliminated from the playoffs, held after a 6-game regular season. Regardless of how a player’s team finishes in the playoffs, MARJCC continues offering basketball practices to all players in their league until mid-March for the Winter League; and early June for the Spring League. Will there be Sunday games during the season?
Yes. Where will practices be held?
Practice takes place in the MARJCC Scheck Family Gymnasium or on the outdoor basketball courts. What happens if the practice is canceled?
If the JCC closes on your child’s practice day or postponed a practice due to bad weather, the coach will reschedule weekly practice to a Sunday morning or afternoon.
