MARJCC JCAT proudly presents “Mystical Water “. By: Shepard Nevel, Directed by: JC Gutierrez. In 1950s Cuba, a truck driver’s life shatters after a mysterious accident, leaving him struggling with a fractured mind and a profound connection to something unseen. Against the backdrop of a country on the verge of upheaval, the accident brings to the surface political and social conflicts between friends, co-workers and community. Thoughtful, poignant, and unexpectedly funny, Mystical Water offers a vivid portrait of a working-class family navigating a deeply personal challenge in a very public setting.
