A double vibraphone jazz concert featuring a rhythm section of some of Miami’s finest players, performing Latin jazz alongside swing and straight-ahead jazz. Jen Martinez-Bre is a Cuban/Peruvian-American percussionist, disability advocate, composer,and festival curator. Dubbed as “The Baroness of Latin Jazz” by Percussive Notes editor, Floria Yehilevsky, Jen has been on the bandstand with and/or been mentored by jazz luminaries including Stefon Harris, Bria Skonberg, and NEA Jazz Masters Dee Dee Bridgewater and Regina Carter.
