Having completed its 21st season of outstanding theatre productions designed to educate and entertain young audiences, the Alan & Diane Lieberman Children’s Cultural Arts Series (CCAS) will once again provide children, grades PreK 4 – grade 6, a quality cultural arts experience by professional touring theatre companies. The Series, offered as school field trips, is free of charge, thus ensuring that all segments of the North Miami-Dade community may be given the opportunity to participate in this culturally enriching program.Prior to attending, all schools receive a Study Guide to enable teachers to prepare their students for their theater experience. Where shows are adapted to the stage from a popular children’s book, each class attending receives a copy of the book to also prepare them for the show they are about to see, as well as to promote the importance of reading and literacy.

The CCAS continues to be made possible through the generosity of community leaders and philanthropists, Alan and Diane Lieberman, whose names have been associated with the Series since its inception, along “with the support of the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs and the Cultural Affairs Council, the Miami-Dade County Mayor and Board of County Commissioners.”

Watch for New Season Coming Soon!

The Alan & Diane Lieberman Children’s Cultural Arts Series is funded by The Children’s Trust. The Children’s Trust is a dedicated source of revenue established by voter referendum to improve the lives of children and families in Miami-Dade County.
