After more than 20 years, actor-comedian Avi Hoffman will be performing his one-man show “Too Jewish?” at both the Broward Stage Door Theatre in Coral Springs as well as the Jewish Cultural Arts Theatre of the Michael-Ann Russell Jewish Community Center in North Miami Beach over selected dates in July and August.

At Stage Door, “Too Jewish?” will be performed six times – July 19 at 8 p.m., July 20 at 2 p.m., July 26 at 8 p.m., July 27 at 2 p.m., Aug. 2 at 8 p.m. and Aug. 3 at 2 p.m.

“The world premiere of ‘Too Jewish?’ was at the Stage Door Theatre (in 1994), so after all this time, I am happy to return there,” said Hoffman, who resides near the venue in Coral Springs.

At JCAT, “Too Jewish?” will be performed twice on July 18 and July 25 at 7:30 p.m.

Hoffman created “Too Jewish?” and his other two one-man shows “Too Jewish Too” (1994) and “Still Jewish After All These Years” (2013) as his personal tribute to the influence of Yiddishkeit in his life.
